How to Pay at Spinrise Casino

Most affiliate payment pages talk about "Interac" as if it were a single thing. It isn't. Three separate products share the name, and each acts differently at the cashier. Here you get them split apart, along with cards, crypto, fees, limits, and what to do if money doesn't show up.

Why Interac means three different things

Across the industry, a cashier will show one button called "Interac". What sits behind it changes from operator to operator, and sometimes from one transaction to the next:

Interac e-Transfer

This is the one you probably know from paying friends. From your own banking app, you send money to the casino's registered email address or phone number. The casino confirms it and credits your account, usually in a few minutes.

Interac Online

Think of this as a redirect. You get sent to your bank's own login screen, approve the payment, and then come back to the casino automatically. No email or manual transfer is needed.

Interac Debit

You'll see it less at online casinos. It behaves more like a debit card payment that runs over the Interac network instead of Visa or Mastercard.

Before you assume anything, find out which product a given "Interac" button in the Spinrise cashier uses. It may not work like the one you know from another site.

Cards and mobile wallets

MethodTypical useNote
Visa / MastercardDeposits, plus a few payoutsPaying out to a card may be slower than Interac. Some issuing banks also refuse it because of the gambling merchant code.
Google Pay / Apple PayDepositsHandy on a phone, but it normally draws on the same card underneath. Payout behaviour therefore follows the card rules above.
Prepaid vouchersDeposits onlyIt can't take a withdrawal. You'll need another method to get your money out.

If a card deposit is refused over a "gambling merchant code", your bank did that, not Spinrise. Some Canadian banks flag or reject gambling payments automatically. Where your bank permits it, the usual fix is to phone their support line and ask them to lift the block. A ticket to the casino won't help.

Cryptocurrency

Bitcoin and USDT are the two coins offshore casinos for Canadians list most often. Both directions can settle faster than through a bank. Still, a few trade-offs are worth knowing before you send anything:

  • Once a deposit or withdrawal is broadcast, it generally can't be reversed
  • Network fees matter, and so does the network you pick (a token can exist on several chains). Choose wrongly and your funds may land somewhere you can't get them back from
  • If the exchange rate moves between your deposit and your play, your balance can be worth more or less than you started with
  • Confirmation speed differs. Bitcoin is slower than many USDT networks, so your deposit may take longer to appear

Fees: who really charges you?

People often can't tell whether the bank or the casino is behind a given fee, on payment pages in general. At Spinrise, as at most operators, it works like this:

Casino-side

Casinos usually don't charge to deposit. Some do add a small fee on withdrawals, either past a set number of requests or below a minimum amount. Look in the live cashier for any threshold it states.

Bank-side

When an Interac e-Transfer carries a fee, your bank's own fee schedule sets it, not the casino. The same goes for a credit card cash-advance fee, if your bank codes the deposit that way. That charge also comes from the bank.

Picking a method: a short guide

Need your money back quickly?

Once you're verified, Interac e-Transfer and crypto tend to be quickest both ways. If you expect to cash out soon after playing, start there.

Want the easiest start?

For a first deposit, most people find a card the most familiar. Just expect that your bank may decline the first try if it flags gambling merchants.

Want to share as little banking info as possible?

With crypto, the casino never sees a card or account number. The price is that a payment to the wrong address or network can't be undone.

No method suits every player. What's best for you hinges on how fast you want to cash out, how you feel about crypto payments that can't be reversed, and whether your bank has a habit of blocking gambling-coded payments.

Why Canadian banks treat gambling payments differently

Interac doesn't block gambling payments. It's a payment network, not a regulator. Blocks and flags come from individual banks. A merchant category code tells the bank a payment is gambling-related, and some banks have an internal rule against those, credit cards especially. None of this says anything about whether the casino can be trusted. It simply reflects each bank's own risk rules. That's how one card can succeed at one operator's cashier and fail at another's, or go through as a debit-linked Interac payment yet fail as a credit card cash advance.

Account currency and conversion

Pick CAD as your account currency when you register, and you skip a conversion on each deposit and withdrawal. If your account was opened in USD or another currency, CAD payments may be converted at the payment processor's rate instead of your bank's. Across lots of transactions that adds up to a small but genuine cost. Check it once, early, so you aren't quietly paying a conversion spread over and over.

How to see what your account actually offers

Sign in and open the cashier

The public promo pages don't list your methods. The cashier shows them account by account.

Check your account currency

Whether CAD is available changes the methods and limits you'll see.

Look at the minimum, the maximum and any fee

Each method can have its own figures, even at the same operator.

Pay from something in your own name

The card, bank account or crypto wallet you pay from must belong to you, the account holder. Otherwise the payment may fail or get reversed.

Keep your receipt

Hold on to the transaction reference until the money has arrived at both ends.

Cashing out and the KYC link

How you deposit can shape how fast you get paid later. Operators often insist that the payout go back by the method used to deposit. That helps stop fraud and meets anti-money-laundering rules. A card deposit, for example, can't always be paid out to some other e-wallet. You'll also normally have to pass identity verification (KYC) before your first withdrawal, whatever the method. The verification guide and the separate withdrawal guide walk through it all.

Usual limits and payout times, method by method

MethodUsual deposit rangeUsual payout time*
Interac e-Transfer$10–$5,000Same business day after approval
Visa / Mastercard$10–$5,0001–5 business days
Crypto (BTC/USDT)Depends on the assetMinutes to a few hours after approval

*These payout times are typical for this kind of payment method across the industry. Spinrise doesn't guarantee them. The casino's own internal review queue is normally the bigger factor. Check the live cashier for current figures.

Payment troubleshooting

Common questions

Interac is what most Canadian players hope to find. Confirm it's currently offered in the cashier. The separate Interac guide covers the steps for depositing and withdrawing.

No. With e-Transfer you send money to the casino's account using an email address or number. Interac Online sends you to your bank's own login page. Find out which of the two the cashier button really uses.

Not always. Where you live, which currency you hold, what device you use and how your account stands can all alter the list. Banks and provinces don't all treat offshore gambling payments alike.

Stick to payment methods held in the account holder's name. Payments from a third party are a frequent cause of a withdrawal being held up.

After verification, Interac and crypto usually beat card refunds for speed. Precise timing still comes down to how busy the operator's processing queue is.

Save the transaction ID, the amount, the time, and any confirmation from your bank or the blockchain. Keep them until your balance is confirmed.

Several Canadian banks flag or block gambling payments unless told otherwise. The restriction sits with the bank. If they allow it, you'll normally need to get in touch with your own bank to lift it. The casino can't do that.

Casinos generally don't add a fee when you deposit. Look in the cashier for any withdrawal fee that applies under a minimum amount or beyond a certain number of requests.

A number of operators insist the payout go back the way the deposit came in. Check the payments terms or ask support for the exact rule before you count on any flexibility.

Less banking information reaches the casino with crypto. But a sent transaction normally can't be reversed. So the risk changes shape instead of going away.

No. Interac is a payment network and not a regulator. Any block comes from a bank, under its own policy toward merchants coded as gambling.

A bank's gambling flag may be applied unevenly, or added after an earlier payment already succeeded. That points to a change in your bank's policy and not necessarily anything at Spinrise.
